For now, PayPal is the most popular way to buy Rasta Reef products & we recommend you use it – and not just because it’s one of the largest online payment processors in the world.

Pay Pal became the 900 lb. gorilla of payment portals through partnership with eBay, and now both online shoppers & merchants everywhere accept PayPal as a preferred method of handling secure transactions.

If you’ve never used PayPal you may wonder why so many people use it to pay for anything & everything they buy online. Once you consider the advantages of using PayPal to shop online you’ll probably start using it all the time.

Cost

One of the best reasons for using PayPal is that it’s free. That’s right. No membership fees, no processing fees, no service charges. Shoppers using PayPal get all the advantages associated with the service and don’t have to pay a dime. Now that’s a price we can all dig.

Credit Card Security

When you sign up for a PayPal account you’re asked to enter whatever credit cards and bank accounts you want to use for purchases on their secure system. Once that’s done it’s rare you’ll ever have to disclose your credit card information to anyone else online again, which is smart shopping.

By paying with PayPal you keep your credit card information completely private, which means you can shop without ever worrying about some hacker downloading your account data from an online merchant.

Flexibility

Skip the embarrassment and hassle of trying to purchase goods & services online only to have your credit card declined. Because you can set up multiple bank accounts, debit cards, and credit cards to fund your PayPal account, you’re pretty much assured your purchases will go through without a hitch. PayPal looks for funds from your different sources based on the order you set up or select at the time of purchase.

The iPhone App

The PayPal iPhone application makes it easy breezy to shop online and transfer money from wherever you are. Just visit the Apple iTunes store and get the free PayPal app and you’ll be ready to transfer funds, send money, pay bills, review your transaction history, and make purchases right from the tiny computer in your hand.

Because PayPal asks to confirm transactions with a PIN, you can be sure your finances are safe should your iPhone somehow end up lost or ripped off. Plus if you meet someone you need to pay while out on the town you can just ‘bump’ your iPhones together to make the transfer.

Score a Deal

Score a Promotional Code from a PayPal powered retailer and paste it into the order when you buy something on their site and save even more money. Rasta Reef occasionally sends out these codes to anyone who signs up for free membership in our ‘Rasta Reef Club’. Members can score email invitations to events, parties, or get special advance notice on new products or upcoming sales, which is always cool.

Amazon Payments

Amazon Payments offers our customers a great shopping experience using a payment platform they know, already use, and can trust – The easy payment process of using the Godzilla of eCommerce – Amazon.
Paying with Amazon enables Rasta Reef customers a way to purchase Rasta Reef products using the payment and shipping information that’s already in their Amazon account.

Just log in using your Amazon username and password right from the Rasta Reef Surf website and you’re good to go.

All your orders are processed via Amazon Payments & You’re always covered by Amazon Payments proven fraud protection. If you have an Amazon account , or you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, then this might be something you may want to use.

Stripe

Stripe is a quick and secure way to accept credit card and debit card payments online, and works well with bank accounts in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and Europe. Customers in Mexico, Singapore, and Hong Kong also find it to be handy.

Stripe is the only merchant processing partner for Squarespace Commerce, which is pretty huge (FYI Rasta Reef is using WooCommerce).

Stripe exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security, and maintains fraud prevention by detecting suspicious activity, such as repeated orders, and rejects the transaction. Additionally, Stripe works with its financial partners and credit card networks to monitor fraud globally.

Rasta Reef customers don’t need a Stripe account to buy Rasta Reef products. All they need is a valid credit card or debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo.

Refunds are free with Stripe. If Rasta Reef needs to refund an order the transaction fee for the charge will be refunded into our account, and we like that.

T-Shirts & Garments

Due to the nature of the how Rasta Reef products are packaged & shipped items that are on a separate line are shipped in separate packages.

One exception is sweatshirts, which can be shipped along with t-shirts, bags, phone cases, and/or beanies – but the shipping base price will be for the sweatshirt 1st item price, and then any items from another group of products will be charged the additional item charge for that group.

You will receive a USPS tracking number when your order ships. The tracking number may not work for 24 hours — this is normal.

USPS First Class Mail International (7-21 days)
USPS First Class International is the cheapest (and slowest) international shipping method available, with a delivery estimate of 7-21 business days. First Class Mail International packages have a 4lb weight limit, so if the total weight of your order exceeds 4lbs, you will not see this option.

USPS Priority Mail International (6-10 business days)
USPS Priority Mail International is an expedited shipping method, with a delivery estimate of 6-10 business days.

USPS Priority Mail Express International (3-5 business days)
USPS Priority Mail Express International is the fastest USPS International shipping method, with a delivery estimate of 3-5 business days.

All USPS International shipping methods provide estimated — not guaranteed — delivery dates. Delivery make take longer than these estimates due to weather, mail volume, and delays at each country’s customs facilities. Unfortunately these factors are out of our control, so we cannot provide guaranteed delivery dates or refunds in the event of delays.

Rasta Reef is not responsible for any delays due to customs – which may be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Tracking

While tracking is provided on ALL orders – tracking is only valid when in the USA. Once the package leaves the US for international orders it will not update.

Standard Packaging

Most packages are shipped to you at your specified address in plain, super durable white poly bags. There is no markings on the packages other than the Rasta Reef company return address label. Inside you’ll find you product(s), a garment care cars, and an itemized packing slip with a thumbnail image of your order with mention of the size, color, and quality included.

Unfortunately, every once in a while an issue may occur with an order. After all we are occasionally only human! If this is the case, then Rasta Reef will be happy to assist you in sorting it out any way we can.

If the problem occurred as a result of an error on our part then we’re more than happy to replace the item for you. Check out our handy who & what list to determine if you’re eligible for a replacement;

Our Responsibility

Oops! If somewhere along the way a mistake was somehow overlooked then we owe you a huge apology! No worries! If any of the following situations apply then Rasta Reef will take care of it for you, and asap.

Faulty Product: If the product has a hole in it, or some sort of stain, or an obvious manufacturing defect.

Placement Issue: If a print is clearly crooked, tilted, or clearly off-center (by more than two inches).

Incorrect Design: If we somehow printed or sent you the wrong design.

Wrong Item Sent: If we send you the wrong garment, color, or size.

Your Responsibility:

Oops! Somewhere along the way you might have made a simple mistake. If any of the following situations are the case than it’s up to you to sort things out.

You Ordered The Wrong Size or Design; If you ordered the wrong size and it found didn’t fit. Our garments are pretty basic, so it’s pretty hard to get the fit wrong, but you may have accidentally entered the wrong size when ordering. It does happen.

Suggestion – reorder the right size and then gift the other item to someone it will fit & make a happy friend out of them!

Incorrect Address; If you made an error in the shipping address packages returned to us can and will be shipped to you again, on request, but at the original cost of re-shipping it. If it comes back we’ll contact you by email to let you know.

“What happens if an item I’ve ordered isn’t in stock?”

We can honestly say that 99.6% of our orders are completed without there ever being any stock availability issues. That said, due to our dynamic & fast moving inventory system we have (very rarely) experienced stock issues.

Notification

Online
Items that are sold out are usually removed from our website or tagged a notice that it’s ‘temporarily out of stock’. Often a notice will be posted next to the item, with word about when it will be available again.

Frequently the website will not allow you to order the item if it’s out of stock, but if somehow that doesn’t happen we will notify you via email that an item in one of your orders is out of stock and suggest that you pick out another cool style you might like.

Substitution
There are usually comparable substitute styles for most of our products. If an item is suddenly sold out then you can look through our product offerings and choose a similar item and reorder using that. If you do decide to substitute the item we can print your design on the new item and ship it out to you – no problem!

If there’s not a suitable replacement item, or if you just don’t want to substitute, then we can always cancel the order for you. Unfortunately, we don’t keep a rolling back order list.

As they say, one one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure. Not only do we embrace diversity, we promote it. And since Rasta Reef is the stylish offshoot of raw subculture we’re all about pushing the limits of what is possible, intellectually & morally challenging, or socially acceptable.

Our motto has always been “Question Authority & Think For Yourself”. If you are turned off or offended by any of our products then- don’t buy them!
